Winning Teamwork: On The Field And Off

After successful days with our partners at the Bear trail, further dates for 2019 will be released soon.

The fun course with learning at its core will take place at The Bear Trail’s beautiful HQ in the Mid Devon countryside and will give delegates the chance to learn all about how the secrets of winning rugby players can be translated into success in business…while also being able to get out into the great outdoors to test their teamwork and leadership skills.

With special guests, such as Carl Rimmer,  Premiership-winning rugby player and a veteran of the professional game who has racked up almost 90 appearances for the Exeter Chiefs, will be sharing insight on how the skills learned and honed in the dressing room and executed on the pitch are equally transferable to business

The course combines a unique and engaging team building session with incisive and interactive classroom teachings. Team-i’s bespoke training programme demonstrates the nine-point plan which all workplace teams should follow if they want to maximise their opportunities for success.

The Bear Trail enables teams to work together to solve challenging outdoor problems on its 10-acre site near Cullompton, improve communication in a new environment and discover hidden talents through pushing their peer engagement.

The Winning Teamwork: On The Field And Off course has been produced, in partnership with the Bear Trail, to offer South West leaders and managers a quick and easy way to develop and enhance their teamwork skills with the emphasis on fun. Previous companies to have benefitted from this training experience include Michelmores solicitors, Burrington Estates, and the Awcock Ward Partnership.

The programme for the day will consist of:

• A demonstration of the key elements of a high performing team
• Learnings on how elite sports teams’ skills can work in business
• Interactive Q&A session with Carl Rimmer
• 3 x 20-minute problem solving tasks designed by ex-Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst graduate Ben Jordan of The Bear Trail
• An interactive challenge test using The Bear Trail’s legendary 5-metre drop bag
• Delegate de-brief and takeaways
